Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week
A key event to shine a spotlight on the contributions apprenticeships make across Northern Ireland. This week is a great opportunity for organisations to engage with local communities and showcase their apprenticeship offerings.
February 10th–16th, 2025
National Apprenticeship Week & Apprenticeship Week Wales
Two celebrations happening simultaneously across England and Wales, highlighting the positive impact of apprenticeships on individuals, businesses, and the economy.
It’s the perfect time to share success stories, promote opportunities, and engage with stakeholders.
March 3rd–7th, 2025
Scottish Apprenticeship Week
For those north of the border, this week is another significant opportunity to showcase the value apprenticeships bring to individuals, businesses, and communities.
March 10th–11th, 2025
ATC Conference

The national apprenticeship minimum wage will increase to £7.55 this April, marking an important step in recognising the value apprentices bring to the workplace.
Employers, be sure to update your policies and budgets accordingly.
September–November 2025
Peak Months for Apprenticeship Candidates
As summer winds down and the academic year begins, the months from September to November represent the busiest period for apprenticeship recruitment.
Many young people actively apply during this time, and schools and colleges run career events and outreach programmes, creating a surge of activity in the sector.
Employers with apprenticeship roles open during these months can benefit from the heightened interest but should also prepare for increased competition in attracting top talent.
