Bulk Upload vs Manual Upload: What’s best for your ACE360 needs?

If you have a cohort of learners needing added to ACE360 this will make sure the records are created with efficiency and consistency

ACE360 offers two primary methods for creating apprentice records: the Bulk Upload feature and Manual Upload. Each method has its own set of benefits, catering to different needs and preferences.

Bulk Upload

The Bulk Upload feature is designed for efficiency and convenience, especially when dealing with a large number of apprentice records. Here are some key benefits:

  1. Time-Saving: Bulk Upload allows you to upload multiple records simultaneously, significantly reducing the time spent on data entry.
  2. Consistency: By using a standardized template, you ensure that all records are formatted uniformly, minimizing errors and inconsistencies.
  3. Efficiency: Ideal for organizations that onboard apprentices in large batches, such as during the start of a new training program or academic year.

Manual Upload

Manual Upload is a more hands-on approach, suitable for smaller batches of apprentices or when individual attention to each record is required. Here are the benefits:

  1. Volumes: Better suited when lower volumes of apprentice records need to be created. If you have 5 or more records to upload we would recommend using the Bulk Upload feature.
  2. Flexibility: Ideal for situations where records need to be created on an ad-hoc basis or when dealing with unique cases that don’t fit a standard template.

By understanding the benefits of each method, you can choose the one that best fits your workflow and ensures that your apprentice records are accurate and up-to-date.

The next step will be to review the ACE360 Bulk Upload checklist
